UNM Food will comply with all guidelines from the Center for Disease Control and the New Mexico Department of Health. We will continue to take precautions to ensure that our guests and team members are safe while visiting our locations. We are currently observing the following procedures to keep you safe:
- Heightened sanitization practices in our facilities.
- Limited seating configurations and capacities compliant with current state and local recommendations on number of diners in our facilities and at each table.
- Buffet or self-service style dining is currently unavailable. Food and beverages will continue to be served by our team members until state and local guidelines allow us to restore self-service.
- Mobile ordering for pickup and/or delivery will continue to be available through the Grubhub app at participating locations.

Meal Plan Requirement
Freshmen residing in UNM main campus housing (including Casas del Rio) are required to purchase one of the four Full Access Meal Plans for the academic year. These include the Cherry Unlimited, Lobo Unlimited, Cherry Weekly 15, or Lobo Weekly 15. If a freshman main campus resident does not select a plan, the Lobo Weekly 15 will be the default selection activated for use and charged to the student’s Bursar account one week prior to the first day of classes. UNM Food will offer the most comprehensive dining experience possible while following state safety standards and UNM guidelines. A reduced campus population may cause operating hours of our locations to reduce or fluctuate. Current hours of operation will be available at food.unm.edu throughout the semester.
