Coming from Outside of the State
Limited Interactions and Self-Monitoring
The State of New Mexico requires for all students coming into New Mexico from out of state a period of fourteen-days of limited interactions and self-monitoring period on arrival in the state. The first week of Spring 2021 semester classes will be offered remotely to facilitate a safe transition.
If you are planning on living in UNM's Housing and Residential Life (UNM Housing), please follow the information sent to you about your housing plan and instructions for returning to on-campus housing. You will be able to limit interactions and self-monitor after your move-in date in your dorm, limiting your exposure to others while being able to go for take-out food in our dining facilities and attending to other critical needs, and you will be able to attend your first week of Spring semester classes remotely to keep yourself and others safe if you are returning from out of state.
